Liberty Outdoors Announces Little Guy Mini Max

The Little Brother to the Little Guy Max Hits Showrooms This Spring.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Uniontown, Ohio, March 21, 2018 – Liberty Outdoors is proud to announce a new addition to the Little Guy family. The Little Guy Max is getting a little brother, named the Little Guy Mini Max. The Mini Max is smaller than the Max by design, but it retains many of the same great features of the Max.

Little Guy Mini Max Exterior
The Little Guy Mini Max weighs just under 2,000 lbs. and is towable with a small/mid-size SUV or a well-equipped crossover.

Manufactured by Liberty Outdoors in Somerset, Pennsylvania, the Mini Max features the same high quality materials, superior craftsmanship, and thoughtful details as it’s bigger brother.

The Mini Max weighs just under 2,000 lbs., making it an ideal companion for most small SUVs, and well-equipped crossovers. It’s also very roomy for it’s small stature. The 6 ft. interior height gets the most out of every inch, and the amount of storage is simply larger than anything in it’s class.

The interior of the Mini Max is full of innovation. Several design touches allow a residential style wetbath, a microwave (not seen at this size), a queen or dual twin bed configuration, and an unbelievably large refrigerator which is actually larger than the Max.

Little Guy Mini Max Interior
The Little Guy Mini Max has a surprisingly spacious interior, with many of the same great features as the larger Max.

“We are super excited to announce the Mini Max. Our community has spoken and we are responding with a smaller Max that is much easier to tow, while not sacrificing the best features or the craftsmanship of the larger model. Our operations team and production crew has outdone themselves with the Mini Max. We can’t wait to bring it to the teardrop market,” said Liberty Outdoors Co-founder and Managing Director of Sales and Marketing, Joe Kicos.

“The Mini Max really hits the sweet spot for many more customers,” said Dylan DeHoff, Liberty Outdoors Director of Operations. “The spaciousness, the storage, the huge refrigerator, the electric ignition stove, the bed configuration, the ability to keep the microwave, I could go on. These are things that trailers in this class simply don’t have. I think our community will be thrilled with the Mini Max,” said DeHoff.

The Little Guy Mini Max is entering production now. See for more features, specs, and a 3D tour. Dealer opportunities are available now. Call 1-877-545-4897 for more details.

WAVES, N.C. – Eggshells in The Outer Banks, an independent, annual fiberglass travel trailer rally, today announced an exclusive sponsorship from Liberty Outdoors the manufacturer of Little Guy, ParkLiner and Serro Scotty travel trailers. The sponsorship includes merging the 5th annual Little Guy “Tearstock” rally with Eggshells in The Outer Banks, which will attract a numerous variety of teardrop trailer enthusiasts in addition to molded fiberglass owner attendees.

Offering an extended holiday schedule of events, Eggshells in The Outer Banks celebrates the spirit of adventure and discovery on Columbus Day Weekend, October 6-9, 2017. Projecting over 140 people for this year’s attendees, the numbers will likely continue to rise as the strategic combination of marketing efforts enhance a competitive position with opportunity to capture new customers and demand.

Tearstock 2017

“We are very excited to be sponsored by Liberty Outdoors and believe this relationship will redefine the potential that rallies have to the small travel trailer industry,” Jeannine Patané, rally coordinator of Eggshells in the Outer Banks, stated, “Little Guy Tearstock rallies have an incredible branding opportunity to bridge owners with potential buyers. These events encourage robust support for product knowledge sharing. We are also thrilled to have Tearstock join us to expand the interest and exposure for all small trailer brands.”

The rally is held on Hatteras Island at Camp Hatteras Resort, the only oceanfront to soundfront camping in North Carolina. The resort houses over 400 RV sites with full hookup on all sites, and accommodations include tent sites along with vacation rentals. Guests are just minutes away from shopping, dining and outdoor activities.

A schedule of events will be available at the beginning of September, and the public is welcome to view Liberty Outdoors showcase of trailers at the resort’s conference center during the rally weekend. Models include the newly redesigned ParkLiners, Little Guys and Serro Scotty.

“Moving the annual Tearstock event to the Outer Banks was a no-brainer for us. Press Release: Little Guy to Manufacture Serro Scotty Trailers at New Plant

July 22, 2016

For more information, contact Little Guy Worldwide (877) 5454897

GREEN, OHIO – Little Guy Worldwide, distributor of the most popular models of teardrop camping trailers in the USA, will develop a new line of trailers under the Serro Scotty brand name, the iconic campers that fueled a small-trailer craze in the ’60s and ’70s.

The Serro Scotty brand expands the Little Guy lineup of vintage-style trailers that thousands of camping enthusiasts have purchased from RV dealers around the world.

“Scotty trailers are a big part of the rich camping heritage of America,” said Joe Kicos, owner and president of Little Guy. “We are very excited to add the Scotty trailer brand and history to the Little Guy family.”

Kicos said Scotty brand strengthens the company’s reputation for offering smaller, high quality trailers to customers looking for fun and simpler camping adventures.

“Our customers tell us they want to get back to basics,” Kicos said. “The new Little Guys and Scotty’s do just that. Campers can make lifetime memories in the comfort of these modern trailers.”

With their classic teardrop shape, Little Guy trailers have become the most identifiable and economical teardrops on the market. From 20 units sold in 2002 when Kicos founded the company, to the thousands of trailers providing enjoyment in the USA and other countries today, the growth of Little Guy sales continues.

John Serro founded the Serro Scotty Co. on July 4, 1957, with a vision of manufacturing affordable family campers. The company was headquartered in Irwin, Pennsylvania. A 1997 fire destroyed the Irwin factory, ending the family’s trailer-building business. “I could not have picked a better organization outside of Little Guy Worldwide to bring back the Serro Scotty” said Gary Pirchl, the grandson of John Serro. “They have built such a great community under the Little Guy brand and the Serro Scotty name will make a great addition.”

During that time, dozens of Scotty Clubs made up of fans of the trailer sprang up all along the East Coast. Serro purchased 300 acres in Rockwood, Pennsylvania, east of Irwin, and in 1962 developed Scottyland, a campground
just for Scotty trailers.

Little Guy Worldwide recently announced its expansion strategy into the distribution of high-end campers and trailers at a new 169,000 square foot facility. Little Guy Worldwide has reserved another 200,000 square feet of space for future expansion.
